Listing your first property is free. Paid plans exist for owners running several at once, and they buy more live listings and more visibility - never a share of your rent. There is no commission on any let you arrange, on any plan.
Nothing stops you doing both. What is different here is that renters arrive having already seen the rent, the deposit, what is included and when availability was last confirmed - so the people who contact you are further along, and fewer of them waste your evening.
Because the whole site rests on renters believing a listing is real. We check identity and the right to let once, then delete the documents. It is what lets us tell a renter your listing has been verified, which is the reason they contact you.
One to two working days. A person reads it, so it is not instant, and you are told either way rather than left waiting.
You owe nothing. There is no commission and no charge tied to whether a let happens. If a listing goes stale you can pause it or take it down yourself.
Yes, if they can show a management agreement for the address. The verification checks the right to let, not only ownership.
